At Woven, we believe that every child’s path is unique — and that the strongest support comes from understanding the whole child within the context of their family, development, and learning journey. Rooted in early childhood development and guided by deep expertise in the New York City kindergarten admissions landscape, we partner with families and schools to navigate both everyday growth and important educational transitions with clarity and confidence.
Our work weaves together child development with thoughtful, individualized admissions guidance. From helping families better understand their child’s learning profile to navigating the complexities of NYC independent and public school admissions, our approach is always centered on the needs of the individual child and family.
We believe the admissions process should never be one-size-fits-all. Instead, we help families identify programs where children will feel known, supported, challenged, and able to thrive — in kindergarten and beyond. Through collaboration, insight, and a relationship-driven approach, Woven helps families make informed decisions that honor both who their child is today and who they are becoming.
About
Annabelle Erazo, M.S. Ed
For the past ten years, Annabelle has dedicated her career to supporting young children and families across New York City. With a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a master’s degree in Infant and Family Development and Early Intervention from Bank Street College of Education, her work has always been grounded in a deep understanding of child development and the belief that children are best supported when they are understood within the context of their family, relationships, and individual learning journey.
Throughout her career in early childhood education, Annabelle has worked closely with nursery school-aged children and their families, fostering social-emotional development, building academic confidence, and helping children develop the skills they need to thrive in kindergarten and beyond. After spending the past five years working exclusively in Pre-K classrooms, she developed an intimate understanding of the kindergarten transition and the importance of finding a school environment that reflects each child’s unique strengths, needs, and personality.
For the past three years, Annabelle has also led exmissions and ongoing school placement at her early childhood program, working closely with families throughout the kindergarten admissions process. In this role, she has guided families through both independent and public school options, helped them identify schools that align with their child and family, and supported them as they navigated applications, timelines, recommendations, and the many decisions that come with this important transition. This experience has given her firsthand insight into the New York City admissions landscape and a deep understanding of what schools are looking for in prospective students, as well as what families should consider when determining the right fit for their child.
Through Woven, Annabelle brings together her expertise in early childhood development, family support, and New York City admissions to guide families through important educational transitions with clarity and confidence. Her approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and deeply individualized, helping families make informed decisions that honor who their child is today while considering who they are becoming.
